Usage Instructions
The Opus Lister incorporates multiple configurable user interface elements, providing access to a variety of program functionalities. While it continues to display file and folder listings, the Lister is the only feature that cannot be disabled.
The default Opus configuration presents a simple Lister interface with two default toolbars at the top, followed by the folder tree on the left and file display on the right. The file display features a third toolbar at the top. The folder tree indicates the selected drive C:, with its contents visible in the file display on the right. The folder tabs at the bottom of the file display allow for opening multiple folders and switching between them quickly.
The status bar at the bottom of the file display provides summary information about the folder being viewed, which can be customized through the Preferences system.
While the Lister may initially resemble Explorer, Opus is designed to offer a familiar interface for users transitioning from Explorer. This allows users to start using Opus immediately and explore its additional features and configurability.
The more complex Lister screenshot highlights key user interface elements, including the file display, default toolbars, folder tree, viewer pane, utility panel, metadata pane, status bar, filter bar, folder tabs, and navigation options.
